MCCAIN PROMISES MORE EDUCATION OPTIONS
Wednesday, July 16th, 2008John McCain reiterated his promise to help children with more educational options, during his speech at the NAACP in Cincinnati. He will support the use of vouchers for poor children in failing schools and expand merit pay programs for teachers who help improve students’ performance as well as increase grants for tutoring poor students. McCain not only promise “to push the government to provide more education and economic assistance, but also urged blacks to demand more of themselves.”
