IRAQ COULD BE THE ACE CARD BETWEEN DEMOCRATS AND REPUBLICANS
Friday, February 29th, 2008McCain has realized the importance of Iraq in his bid for the presidency. He decided not to dwell on the past - referring to Obama’s remark that al-Qaida wouldn’t be in Iraq if it weren’t for “George Bush and John McCain decid(ing) to invade Iraq.” “What we should be talking about is what we’re going to do now,” McCain said. It is obvious that one of the major factor, if not the major, in future debates will be U.S. security and how to best secure it with regard to leaving or withdrawing our troops from Iraq. According to recent pools, Americans feel more confident if McCain handles the situation than Obama, because of McCain’s past records on national security.
