RON PAUL QUITS THE PRESIDENTIAL RACE
Saturday, June 14th, 2008With $4.7 million of presidential campaign funds available, Ron Paul is able to continue spreading his message of freedom, the Constitution and small government in a “Campaign for Liberty”, which was described as a “permanent campaign” by his campaign spokesman, Jesse Benton. He will be helping Republicans with a libertarian penchant to public office, but not John McCain.
“I don’t plan to,” Paul said, explaining that he doesn’t feel he can make an endorsement because of their disagreement on issues. “I’ve tried to soften that by saying ‘unless he changes his position, unless he lets us brings the troops home.’”
